Can we please stop talking about that shitass team and start talking about the NEW team that will be coming here! Good God people...they were run by pigs and thieves. I don't give my money to pigs and thieves...except for the once-a-week hooker I pay for.
Let's start figuring out who we can go take from somewhere else, and when the new stadium can/will be built. My point of view is the arena needs to be built with ice capabilities so we can be looking at both NBA and NHL teams. I have heard that the Mighty Ducks may be looking and I know Calgary has for a couple of years. That's two potential teams right there. Not sure about the NBA right now.

I'm not going. Good riddance, I say. If the NBA wants to reward imbecils who ran one of its most popular franchises into the ground more power to them. If they think these two morons are who they want as representatives of their league then it's their own business, I guess. It pissed me off to hear Stern bad mouthing Charlotte. It came off as incredibly arrogant to me. To think that a city shouldn't have some say in who represents their communtiy to the nation is asinine. The players and owners have come across as arrogant buttheads for years and now apparently the league is as well. I'm a huge basketball fan and am so turned off by the NBA right now it's not even funny. I used to go to Hornets games, buy my kids Hornets merchandise, and follow the team closely, through good and bad. Now I couldn't care less. My son just recently wanted me to buy him a Hornets hat. I got him a Panthers hat instead. George and Ray, get the hell out and take David Stern with you! Screw the NBA!
