I was glad for Rogers too. He has been in a tough spot for a while now and has handled it pretty well.

He was hurried a couple of times. He ran for a ten yard first down in the game. He was a lot faster than I thought he would be.

If the Steelers don't win the Super Bowl, I want the Packers and this kid to win, and to tell all those Wisconsin fucks to kiss his ass afterwards.

WTF. The Vikings are being touted as one of the top 3-4 teams in the NFC so it ain't like they edged the Dolphins. I remind you that Jared Allen is on the DL for the Vikings; 15 sacks in '07. It was a solid win over a good team, Rodgers did pretty well I'd say.

They got Allen but were one of the worst pass defenses in the league last year.

Don't forget that lightning in a bottle pass offense.:behead:

They got better on defense by getting a pass rush, but they did little to improve the offense. Sure they got a couple WR's...Peterson is still going to account for most of the offensive production. I thought Jackson would be a good QB for them, but the growth of his progression has hit a plateau.

No, it hasn't. He's just starting his third year, which is still very young for a quarterback, and he was playing against one of the better defenses in the NFC. QBs generally don't hit their peak until 28 or so.

One mediocre game doesn't mean that his career has hit a plateau, dude.
