If you had told anyone two days ago here that Strait would have lasted past the mid-2nd and Poole wouldn't be drafted until Sunday, you'd have been stuck in a padded room. Troupe and Watson would be considered relatively equal so that isn't that big of a deal.
To imply that any of these guys will be bust or would have been at #31 is premature at best.

MMMMM, a lot of sites had Stait mid second. great blue did, Brandt, the TSN guy, a lot of the last week guys had him the 7th or 8th best corner, which is where he went. I remember, cause I found it suprising that so many had guys like Carroll and even Spencer higher.

I said that many many "experts" were saying Strait was way lower than a 1st rounder, and that teams were taking Poole off their boards. I said it about 3 or 4 times. I'm not trying to say I was right, but it was written all over. The fans of those picks just weren't seeing it.

I never read it. I read a couple people had Poole down, that's all. It wasn't that I wasn't wanting to see it. But it wouldn't change my opinion of where I worked and rated a player, either.

All the same, when I suggested either name in chat, you could have been clear about it.

Well, Linda, you said it yourself, it all depended on how legit those character concers were. His first workout sucked, and then ....

This morning, I saw a report that even Carroll was advising against picking him. Then I figured we'd pass, since Fox talked right with Carroll during that first workout. Turns out, it went like wildfire after that.

Since I wanted CB or TE first, OT second and WR 3rd I very happy with or draft. I didn't see any play enuff to evaluate them but I do like the fact that all say they are hard workers and come to play the whole game. Coaches can work with that.

I wasn't devoting my full attention to the chat. Sorry. Again, I'm not saying I was right and others were wrong. The whole league could be wrong about these guys. All I am saying is that info was out there, and the Panthers and other teams were probably aware of it.

That's cool. I know you were in and out, because I asked you a question or two and you didn't respond. But I'd mention corner or DB value and you'd suggest there isn't any, or say "who?" and then be silent when we brought them up.
Which was confusing. That's all I was saying.
