ghost image?

    It's coming in Windows Vista...then your life will be easy.

    For now, I use the SMS OS Deployment Feature Pack to make images using free product.

    For you, using Ghost and WinPE is the dealio. If you have two hard drives in a machine or a network, you can just boot into WinPE (which is NOT WinXP) and run the 32-bit Ghost or whatever and image your main hard drive to the other drive or to a network share. Figuring out how to do all of that will take some time unless someone just has pre-configured CD images up on the internet you can download, or some corporate person has access to their imaging CD that you could borrow (most companies have such a thing already made).
