TBR.com get together to watch Canes/Leafs Game 4pm on Sunday ?

My original plan was to go up to Raleigh on Sunday and watch the Canes/Leafs game at the ESA . . . BUUUUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTT, it seems that game is basically sold out !!!!!!!!! I can't find any cheap seats in the upper level and the best that's available is $170 (Yeah, yeah its the Eastern Conf. Finals, but I'm in the process of moving into a new house in the Fall and I really don't want to dip into my 'House Set-up' Fund that I've built up . . . . ). I guess I have to hope the series will go at least 5 games, so I can catch Game 5 at the ESA next Sat. night (5/25)


So instead, I might go to a local eatery and check out the game down. Maybe NICK'S on South Kings Drive O-R go to Coaches in Pineville O-R RJ's (i.e. old Scorebord restaurant) on Independance Blvd. & Crown Point. If anybody else want to tag along, PM or e-mail me and we can decide where we will meet at.

If you want to spend $170 for club level seats, go for it !!!!!!!!! That was the BEST AVAILABLE seat that Ticketmaster spit out awhile ago when I went to check out the tixs . . . .

Shit... I've been to an average of 2-3 home games a year with the Panthers since they moved from Clemson. Have not been to a Hornets game for a year or two, but when I was going, probably 4-5 games a year - never had to pay for a ticket. Will they sell out that big ass place in Raliegh?

Except for the 1st Devils/Canes game, all of the playoff games have sold out . . . .

It's better to watch them on tv to see them deconstructed the way they were in the last game and drive all that way could piss you off. However after the game I'm sure the leafs got their asses reamed good by thei ownership and the rest of the series will resemble hockey games.
