It's wierd. I use to listen to Gerry V all the time but now I'm listening to Packman. GerryV has been on end with all this Hornets shit going on. He's been taking it out on his callers.

Has anybody noticed that for the most part . . . .
1) Most pro Hornets fans call into WBT-Gerry V's show for the most part while . . .
2) The '**** the Hornets'/Shinnridge is the Anti-christ crowd call into Packman's show ? ? ? Yeah, I hear a few pro-Bugz callers here or there, but for the most part the anti-Hornets crowd hangs around WFNZ . . . .
Over at the CLT.com Sports Media board, everybody is ripping Gerry V for not critizing Shinnridge more over the team's move to New Orleans. But I'm sure everybody realizes that 1) since he works for WBT, and they are the rights holder for the Hornets broadcast 2) he's not going to spend all of his time on the air dogging the team. But I guess some guys don't notice that
. . . . Has anybody noticed that since the Observer writers have been back on PRIMETIME since last year, the station hasn't had one anti-Observer skit on the radio ? ? ? ?

I sent a link to this board to Packman awhile ago . . . He knows about it, but for some reason he hasn't been by here yet. In fact, I think he's cooled off on the message board visits for quite some time now. He doesn't go by CLT.com a whole lot anymore and he hasn't talked about his visits to Neworleanshornets.com on the show as much (hell, I don't think he's talked about it over the last couple of weeks at least . . )

Packman. I can't stand V's whining about Charlotteans NOT going to the playoff games, etc...
Besides, my dogs usually have more sports-insight than "the V man". Hopefully when the Hornets leave, they'll take Mr. Solid Hair with them.

I'm right there with you on that one smashmouth. Hayseed is an idiot, an embarrassment to Duke fans everywhere. The whole "Mayberry Mafia" thing is getting real old, real fast, too. Even with problems, it's still Packer over V-man and it's not even close.

There are several annoying bits on PrimeTime, and the Darby Derby is right near the top. It forces me to change the station any time I hear it. Too bad, because it absolutely wastes 15 minutes of air time. But, as I said, I'll still take Packer over V any time.
