    Tampa had the least cap space in the league, not even enough to sign their draft picks. I hoped that McCoy might end up here but I assumed that someone else would offer a lot more money. This is fucking insane. You don't win Super Bowls in June but you can lay the groundwork and I couldn't be happier about the two lines. The secondary is still fucked and I'm still nervous about our wideouts, but this might be the most confident I've ever been during an off-season.

    It really is, and in the right way. I don't pay attention to splashy signings of wide receivers, but when you build quality and depth along the line of scrimmage then you're setting yourself to be competitive every single week. I guarantee you that no coach in the league wants to scheme against the Panthers and no lineman in the league wants to play against them. If a team is going to beat Carolina this season, they will have to earn it in blood.

    Yeah, we could take an injury or two on both lines and still be okay. And we have two great line coaches. It's exciting.
