    It's difficult to believe that we'd be so politically embroiled with them to actually pay that much just to "maintain the peace" with the Afghan gov.

    $400.00 a gallon is part of the reason it is going to cost us a half a million dollars PER SOLDIER that will be in Afghanistan.

    yeah, that's worth every fucking penny :handjob:

    Gas fell to 2.66 a gallon here today from a high of 2.75 a gallon last week. Now that the bitter cold spell is over it should stabilize.

    That was one excuse. There will be more. It will leap up. Big oil loved it. You have to look at what they are not doing. Upgrades on refineries, building more in locations that are not as weather sensative. Like the gulf Coast. Expanding pipelines as a precurser to failure in another. Expansion of natrural gas resouces. There are more. But they are dragging thier ass to get it done. I would love to know what they have done over the last couple of years. New
