It's not a criticism of the guy to point out that he's had better games. It's actually a compliment.

I'd say that Minnesota, Washington, and Arizona were all better.

No, really. For a unit that's struggled, and been pretty terrible, they had a good game. I'm proud of them from a fan standpoint.

They held them to FGs, with the exception of the garbage time TD. They played pretty strong vs. the run, they had a few rushes, forced a turnover, and played overall very well, considering. They showed progress. We won two in a row.

They deserve it. When a unit suffers almost all season long, and they begin to turn things around, even if only a little, it's a good thing. It's a sign of improvement.

Let's see what they do against a good QB next week.

Actually, they let a pretty shitty offense get points for four straight possessions. A better offense would've scored a touchdown or two instead of kicking field goals.

That being said, the did tighten up in the second half - thanks in part to TB having to play catch up.

TB was one-dimensional for the most part - our goal was to stop the run and let Johnson beat us with his arm. He didn't, and the dl did a good job bottling TB running game up.

to a degree i agree with you. But two of those FG drives were less than 30 yards (18 and 27 yards) because of favorable field position.

But you are right. They did what they had to do against a back up quarterback playing for a team that is reeling. These are games you need to win and win decidedly.
