he did play well. doesn't matter now but it's kind of fun to wonder if the outcome of some of those other games would've been different...

Why any Db saysn anything other than "Hello sir" to Smitty I'll never know. He's looking for a reason to play pissed off and face rape someone.

they have "their guy" and Stanton was another GM's guy, he's got low miles but a couple years. That might not be a terrible trade, other than that we have no picks.

The entire defense. They came to play football.

Anyone who EVER pisses off Smitty.

Ron "MonsterCock" Meeks for developing a strong gameplan. Consistent pressure on Favre with plenty of 2-deep absolutely crippled Mr. Noodle, to the point where the bastard wanted to bench his hall-of-fame quarterback--leading 7-6. We made them quit, and I applaud Meeks and the majority of the defensive staff/personnel for that. Moore, clearly. I mean, he's looking better in his first 4-5 starts than Jake did in 2003. I want to see similar results vs. NY this week, as their secondary is miserable. Stewart--amazing. Magazu, and the makeshift line. Barnidge. Smith.

Abusive deserves honorable mention, and not just for his recent avatar change. Abusive did a nice job of forecasting the eventual pink-socking of Gerald McRainey's asshole. I think I had Favre pegged for 3 int's, he winds up short of that mark, but we won the turnover ratio. Abusive continues to demonstrate strong results, with the disadvantage of two young children, a cranky wife, and awkward, cumbersome access to TBR through a slow-ass Blackberry. As Joey Porter once so eloquently stated: "I'm tired of whippin' y'all's ass. Whew! Makes me tired!"

I like Stewart more when he's the featured back. I don't advocate making him that but just based on him alone, he seems to do well with more consistant touches.

Changing it up so they rotate entire series might help this.

Not so much game balls, just observations:

Special Teams are really awful, why is Crossman still here- flags on almost every ST play on us

    Sutton seems a great pickup

Moore still overthrows/underthrows quite a bit, but he's not bad overall

SS doesn't need to give interviews when he's wound up

JP does seem dumb as Gamble, which is saying a lot, still even with him playing like last night, ain't worth a mil a game

I don't want to see Jake at all anymore, unless he's a backup

We need both backs, they are both golden

Trading away next year's first was really really really dumb
