I'm sure you meant what you said, and most disagreed. He's had better games this year, so I'll stick behind what I said too.

But we definitely agree you're bashing him. Seems your views on him aren't based on the same things I see. Same with the comment on the other ends.

Props to Gamble who's received a lot of shit, and probably not deservedly. He doesn't get a lot of picks but he's pretty damn solid in coverage and his tackling has improved dramatically since he got here. He still will have a bone head play here and there but the dude has been good for us

Also Charles Johnson had a good game. Two batted balls, one causing a 4th down the other leading to a pick. And a sack. Good work.

yeah Johnson was good. NO idea how he's not starting. TFL, sack. 2 PD.

Davis gets a game ball too - I forgot him. 7 tackles, an INT, and 2 PD.

You can tell you're having a bad season when you get a win and just about everyone on the team deserves a game ball.

But I'd have to say Jake deserves it for just not flat out sucking.

Really? You think that "most disagree" that peppers is overpaid and has unexplainable chunks of games (and even stretches of games) as an underachiever?? I guess I haven't seen the results of your secret poll. If that really is the case then I would chalk that up to temporary delirium over ONE good defensive performance/really bad offensive performance. Before you (and your secret committee) get too high maybe you should wait until after the saints game hmmm?

btw- You are flat out wrong about him having "better games this year". So he had 2 sacks against both TB and Was. Who was he up against in those games . .. and who was he up against vs Ari? He did not appear to me to be coasting hardly at all this Sunday like he did at times in those games.

He doesn't look terribly bigger to me (he's listed only 5lbs heavier than his combine weigh-in) I remember he had conditioning issues as a rookie.

I think Brayton is still starting because of his ability against the run. Johnson is going to be starting at some point though.

Most disagree that he's had one good game. I've stated my own displeasure at the Dallas game. Very emphatically.

what would a future game have to do with past performance?

I'm sorry. I wasn't sure if what we were arguing was "did Peppers have a shitload of impact in the game" or level of difficulty. Then maybe it's time for people to shut the fuck up about Jared Allen?

So we disagree on what game was best, so man, that must really suck for there to be a bunch of options this early.
