The stupid broadcasters aren't going to help this either. They mentioned how the crowd seemed 'out of it' on the first possession when Carolina had the ball, only to get loud when we came on defense.

    Good job Baldie :guns:

Beason is already such an amazing leader. Anyone who can engage the part-time kicker when he hits the crossbar is someone who can fire up the whole damn team.

He said that after the Cards got the ball after stopping our opening drive.

That's why I said 'first possession.'

I know when it happened. My point was, he was chastizing our crowd for being quiet and 'out of it' on our first possession, saying they only got loud when we came out on defense.

In essence, for once our crowd did the right thing but the announcer made it seem like we were 'out of it.'

Godfrey gets an honorable mention for staying at home on the fake field goal. Read it, tracked it and stopped it perfectly. If they convert that who knows.

Also an honorable mention to the genius that called that play.

And a couple of big 3rd down catches for Jarrett. He got a head slap from Fox after one when he came off the field. And it was the good kind too.

It had to come from Whisenhunt. Terrible call. I guess there's a reason why this team has sucked since the beginning of time.

I didn't get to see the game (of course), but from the little I heard on the radio, it sounded like he came up with some really good plays. I'm hoping the game makes the cut for NFL Replay.
