O-line gave Jake some pretty good protection. Jake didn't make any silly throws.
Safeties didn't make any horrible errors, and Gamble stood out on a few plays. LB's looked a little better in coverage than I expected.

    Morgan helps that cause...

gotta give some props to the coaching...to be down 13-7 and win 27-13, they never wavered the game plan, and made the needed adjustments

welcome to the NFL. What a fun first series that was, and then we had to refocus and did. We weren't just up or down, it wasn't just working or not, we pounded when we had to but we also did well.

he looked a little indecisive for a few series in there but got it back and started making them pay. OMG WE NEED TO GET THE CARR STARTED!

yep. First drive looked like ass, but let's be honest. That's a hell of an offense we left to two FGs after the first drive.

yep, good enough. Also doing a very good job gunning punts.

I would have never guessed that we would hold Steven Jackson to 1 catch. Morgan really makes this D tick.

surprised me. He was on top of Jackson a number of times. Not "hey he's in my zone, I should go tackle him", but as if he was in man.

Liked our speed and recognition on the TEs and backs by all our backers, not just Morgan. It was nice to see, we didn't give much up cheap.

Rams got 3.3 yards per pass.

Jake, Smitty, Deshaun, the O-line, Jeff King, the defense....hell just give everybody one. It was a good team effort to start the season.

Jeff Davidson first drive the offense look great.even when they did not score they did not look.2nd drive.I thought we look real good on 3rd today.I also like the fact that not 89 got the ball I mean Colbert had a catch Jeff King 5catch Drew Carter 2 catch for a TD ,DW big catch. The only bad play by Davidson that i did not like was the 3rd and goal running play

    Mike Trgovac

defense other then 1st drive by the Rams the defense. They basically shut down a very good Rams offense

Very much agreed. He got us one penalty and was involved several more times. Good to see a guy who thinks he should be starting still busting his ass on special teams. I really like that kid.
The only LB I noticed shadowing Jackson in the passing game was Thomas "Mr. Active" Davis.
