The basics, with the same personnel, will stay the same. The zone is the only big difference, and at times yesterday it looked brilliant. Hopefully it's more even than last year's.

and yeah, Kalil looked good. Against Chuck Norris Jr, the greatest white hype since Chris Hovan, at that. It's good to have that extra option, and if Hartwig doesn't stop with the mistakes, Kalil might just start this year either way.

How many mistakes did Hartwig make? What beyond the bad snap?

2 bad snaps. One on the shotgun, one called 'illegal snap'.

Other than that I think he was solid.

The commentator called it a hybrid offense, and that it was in vogue.

    LOL.

    Snap Infraction

I'd never even heard of that. What did he do? Twitch when Jake stuck a finger in his ass?

    .
that's a big one - he also didn't hook Carriker on a play that got Williams stuffed, and there was another I can't recall right offhand.
It's not that he played badly, but he had some mistakes, and we can't afford too many of those.

Who would have thunk Carter would be the leading scorer so far?

Yes, it is, but the head coach really needs to bitch at the refs to get it called.

    I pointed out examples.

    chipshotx:
Hartwig played well in the second half. Carriker did get under his pads that one time, but I think Justin took it personally because he didn't lose ground again.

I was very ready for a change at OC and I am glad we made one but I think it is unfair to dump too much on Henning. He has had a lot of success in the NFL. That being said he is an older guy who runs an older offense. Davidson's unit so far looks much more modern.
