The facts show that they weren't. Jake sailed a number of his passes again this week, with the lower overall number being a result of fewer downfield passes than against Minnesota.

    riddel:
Smith actually had 5 first downs. It would be hard to gain "at least 8 first downs" on 7 catches, but yeah, he played well.

miss spoke...I should have said top 3 among those with higher completion ratings either way I'm wrong....

but Jake wasn't the problem this week...that's my point...and I'm sticking with it.

Honestly, no, calling it a "good game" isn't dumb, and that sounds more "pissed" than anything. And correcting someone's opinion is really poor, but luckily you don't get wrapped up in emotion. :gaga:

Chipshot said last week he "hates" Delhomme. Being overly critical and hating him aren't really the same thing. But if that, and "chat", is your consensus, then that's outright odd.

Because I know quantifying opinion as right or wrong is ridiculous. The result is opinion of opinion. Unlike you, I don't decide my opinions are right or wrong. I believe you're falliable. I believe you have flaws like everybody else.

I don't ignore them. It feels pained for you to do so, and is kinda rare. Until "decent", you didn't say positive things about him. I think that's about all you've said that was positive. Meanwhile, to go with "decent" you jumped on me for saying "good". Of course, that could just be a total inability to handle opposing opinions.

You do it all the time, magnus. Hell, you just did it earlier this thread in reference to people in chat calling for the firing of coordinators.
You know that a great many people have been critical of Delhomme, and that the number continues to grow. Thus your statement that I "have a bug up (my) ass about him that no one else here does" was an outright lie. You certainly know that some have gone so far as to call for Weinke, which I certainly never have, so for you to say that I'm more biased against Jake than anyone is a flat out lie.
Wow, another lie. Magnus, you look down on people and judge their opinions all the time. I'm just honest and unapologetic about it.
Another lie. I've been saying positive things about Jake since the moment we signed him away from New Orleans. As I noted, I praised that move and expressed my hope that he'd be named the starter. I also wrote in to various columnists campaigning for his playoff QB rating to get more attention until that disasterous Seattle performance. You know all this, you just choose to lie because you want to piss me off (mission accomplished) and you want people to think that I'm as biased about players as you are (good luck with that).
The number of Jake's downfield throws actually overthrown this week vis-a-vis last week.

Delhomme needs to protect the ball, no doubt. But shouldn't we talk about the real problem of Gross getting whooped at LT?
