    Strahan >>>>>> Gross.

Good thing it didn't matter. Only time Osi made a play was when we asked another player other than Wharton to block him. Wharton played well.

Wharton did play well. And at times, we did have a TE and a RB blocking Strahan with Gross blocking down. I guess I'll take that, in some situations, but he blocked down without a man outside him (and didn't even reach the man he was looking to block).

And Strahan did just outright whip him once.

I don't think that on the play that Strahan came free, that he was Gross' assignment. The play was probably drawn up to pull Strahan down the line, chasing the RB, and Jake to bootleg out. Strahan just didn't bite.

True. That one sack wasn't him. The penalties got on my nerves more. Jake held the ball a bit on the other sack, but Gross was beat to his outside shoulder badly. Strahan is going to beat everyone probably one snap though, but I did note that we seemed to give Gross a good bit of help. Wharton was given some inside help at times, but he did a real good job of pushing Osi behind Jake.

I'd be more willing to forgive Gross for the free play, if he'd blocked anyone. He didn't get the end, he didn't get the tackle, when your QB gets sacked and you didn't block anyone, you've got some blame.

I like how the media was pumping up SS and he just complimenting his team all the way down to the O-line. The chick interviewing him on CBS was getting a little frustrated. :ylsuper:
