We were the more physical team today, on both sides. They wilted, and its great to win a game like that.

Nobody had a bad game. Though he got whipped a few times, even Reyes had some wins. Wharton still needs a little more physical play, and I think gave up the hit that caused the INT, but he didn't hurt us. We gave him some help. Gaines did some good blocking. As a lead, he seems to do well.

    Foster
Lucas, Draft, maybe Davis for being the guy we schemed around at times, but he didn't make big plays

Actually that was Gross on Kerney. It was the same old song, where Gross didn't set until after backpeddling.

I didn't think Lucas had a real good game. Draft, McRee, Davis on D for me. Every guy that smacked Vicky around: honorable mention. Sweet day.

True, Lucas did give a lot of cushion and gave up too many yards. The Crumpler catch was just ridiculous and wasn't his fault, but a couple of other times he was just too soft on some pretty weak Atlanta receivers. But I'm sure there were plays where he had tight coverage that we just didn't see, because when Vick did have time to pass, he usually didn't find someone open.

    That's right.

That whole series had me cussing. And hoping that ref gets fucking blindsided.

It seemed to just make the defense mad though. We played pissed off on defense.
I don't know if I've ever been this proud of our on field effort. Not since Philly NFCCG.

Yeah, I meant to talk about how the officiating was just heinous today. Not only was there the Hoover fiasco and the controversial late hit (the Proehl catch actually was ruled correctly), but we had our usual uncalled holds on Peppers and there were some other plays I can't remember right now where I thought at the time that I wanted to come on here and bitch about them. That was some really, really bad officiating.
