FWIW, Marshall is just fine as a nickelback. He had a shitty day and he can be replaced, but he'll probably become someone's starter in 2010 and have a good career. I'll take him till then, but the ideals of him being better than anyone starting for the Carolina Panthers is dead.

I'm convinced we can do better at nickle. I seriously wonder if he understands all of the defensive calls. Every week I see him struggling just to get lined up on the right guy. Him and Godfrey are the two big weaknesses in our secondary, and why teams have so much success running a spread no huddle.

I think Godfrey has been a bit more of a liability. Marshall had a bad couple of games, but Godfrey still doesn't know who to help in our coverage schemes.

Kenny giving up the stick route on 3rd and forever, when we had pressure, was a bit of a pisser too. But the other two just plum pissed me off.

Fox said in the presser that Gamble had made the pick, the reciever told him after the game that he only had one hand on it.

Marshall was completely lost on that two-point conversion today. He had no idea where to go for coverage. And they say Jarrett can't learn the playbook...

I thought it would either have to be a pick or if it touched the ground as Gamble rolled an incompletion. I never thought the GB receiver had possession.

Fox just didn't have a conclusive camera angle. Had it initially been ruled an interception, they definitely wouldn't have overturned that either. And yes, Godfrey is struggling.
