    That was a cheap hit and the ball was nowhere around Smith. Then they got Peppers on an unsportsmanlike conduct call when he just grabbed the guy and held him up to keep him from falling. Bullshit.

    It wasn't unsportsmanlike. It was a blow to the head. Pep did slightly graze Brees's helmet with his arm. As bogus as it seems, technically I think they have to call that. If a DL touches a QB in the head, its going to be called. The holding him up after that had nothing to do with it. Those of you who were at the game, look at your tape if you have one.

    The interference, OTOH, was a bad call.

    How about calling a holding penalty against whoever Pep is going against more than once a game since it happens at least once every 4 downs.
