    That's right. We were vertical as hell. But the only time we're vertical it's always for thirty yards. If the coaches really wanted to get radical they'd bust it out for a tight end gain of 5-10 yards....

    Yeah, in the game chat I was begging for some TE involvement. Vertical can be great but it's so often all or nothing.

    I don't even know if Delhomme is much worse than he was in 2003, it's just the fact that our running game had over 1500 yards and this year it has 5. Delhomme might have played like crap all day, but when it was clutch time and we needed a touchdown, he delivered and the defense choked. Special teams didn't help much either letting them start at the 50.
