My brother and I were enjoying a not so pleasant first quarter today in section 229. In fact, it was on Detroit's second scoring drive where I notice a tap on my left shoulder. It appeared to be a female, in her 60's. The exchange went something like this:

Cunt: "Yes--excuse me. I paid good money for my seats two rows behind you, and I don't appreciate you standing up."

Abusive: "Um, yea....ok there.....you got it."

Cunt: "You know, when the rest of us are standing up, you can too."

Abusive: "I paid for my seats too, so, you know....."

Then, the old cunt just walks away.

Fuck her, and fuck those like her.

but yeah, that's triple retarded. I actually got shoved by an older fat man when sitting around row 4 in a corner in 2000. Michael Bates had blocked a punt and I think he'd scored so I was up celebrating and doing the geek high-five miss thing and this fucker behind us shoves me. Says he couldn't see what happened. I wasn't going to beat up on an old fat man but the guy with me was ready to whip his ass. Usher came and took the quarter-tonner away and presumably he sat somewhere else for the rest of the game. Fucking "don't stand up I can't see."

 

I stopped sitting lower level for that reason. Every single time I have, I either get comments or dirty looks for giving a shit about what the team does. Plus the cheerleaders aren't hot enough to be worth the extra dough.
