Fuckin Kasay

On a much less-dramatic scale, that game reminded me of our loss to the Giants in December 08.

In fact, on that attempt ('08), Kasay double-clutched, and still almost made the fucking thing with the wind. Would have been his best FG ever had it gone in.

Yesterday was entertaining, at the very least. Other than the SFO win, we have not sniffed that kind of drama (if you want to call it that) in the final minutes of a game since, perhaps, the home ATL game in 2009. We won some late in 09, but most were blowouts. (EDIT--this year's road loss to the Saints was very similar. At least yesterday, JC put us in a spot to win, from his own 5-yard line. I'm beginning to slowly appreciate the kid, but I want to see a little more courage in the pocket, and willingness to take some chances.)

Good to see Stewart blowing shit up, and if/when 33 learns how to pass protect on every snap, he will be your new starter in 2010. That is, if the new coach places value on utilizing his feature-back as a pass catcher. Goody is fucking talented. DW is one of the best HB's in the NFL, but he sucks dick as a receiver, and if you truly want versatility, and proper fiscal management for the sake of improving the complete makeup of your team, you will allow DW to move on, much like we had to do with Deshaun Foster.
