    oh that? That's stupid. It's using a football like it's a basketball, like a crossover dribble, but he's not bouncing it, which just makes it look like he's rubbing one off on the football.

    Doesn't excuse it, and doesn't take away horribly. But I did have an answer to that specific suggestion, and don't find it true. Which is why I backed it.

    Here's the point being made - people don't bitch about Smitty's fumbles or drops. They're as often or more often detrimental than Moose's were.
    Just as with the whole "contract year" bullshit, there's just a different standard. It's nothing against Smith, I just find it funny how people have a second criteria for Muhammad.

    What people? Why is it assumed that Moose catches more shit than Smith?

    I never participated in any of that shit, and don't know of any Panther fan that has. This is a results business. Had the tables been turned, and Smith was in Moose's position for the past week, I will admit that I would have made more of an effort to retain Smith than I would have Moose. You wanna know why? His age.
