    Actually, I'm sitting here trying to think of why the Bears can't win their division now...Moss is gone, Favre might retire...is Detriot going to kick their ass?

    He returned kicks and punts full time, too. Adds to the fumble opportunities.

    I recall Moose fumbling a few in his day--2004 at home vs. ATL. Cost us 7 on our first drive. Playoffs vs. Dallas, fumbles at the 5, but got it back, barely.

    There are no excuses for it from either guy. But Smitty makes plays, and stats are ultimately for losers.
