what's neat is that we won't need to look at a franchise back next year. Not to say Foster is a lock, but he's most definately enough to stop the mess. Hopefully, we'll follow a similar scheme next year and go DT or CB in the first, DT/CB or WR in the second, and probably OT in the third.

Well gee golly Beav, Wally says next year the Panthers'll be even better! That'll be dandy.

yeah, I know, it was done in a mocking tone. Amazing, we always find a way to release or trade away our leading rusher but yet Tshimanga was a constant through all these years, including 95 since his drafting left Derrick Moore out in the cold.

Odd, if you want to go that route, you could say that we chose Eddie George over Tshimanga this time, and Vonnie Holliday over Peter, but I dunno who I could target as Peter and I'm not that spiteful anyway. Well, still a little miffed at the whole "seven years to make an honest change at RB" thing.

I'm still upset we let AJ go.

he wasn't going to be what he was, I don't imagine. It wasn't in the cards for him after 96, sadly...the toe injury opened it up for Tshimanga, who was stellar against Atlanta and then got hurt in Oakland prepping us for Lane. Two years later, and he was still behind them. They did make the wrong choice - keeping Means instead - yes. But I'd have kept both and kicked someone else away. Or not kept 4 QB.

Frankly, I'm quite disappointed. You guys have let my Philip Rivers = greatest QB in ACC history comment sit for nearly 2 hours without shooting it down. C'mon, I really expect more from you all.

the two OTs - what's the deal on them? Experience, playing style?
