You can certainly tell this is the slow season for the NFL.....this story has been rehashed over and over again. They must just keep a copy on file and then fill in the name of the latest flop.
Did you notice that Bill Polian came thru this one unscathed? I think he still holds the Panther record for picking first round flops. Also Pasquarelli fails to mention that Morgan's broken ankle was caused by the Great Turf Disaster of 2001.
And speaking of Dwight Clark....and all the talk of him heading here. I think I heard somewhere that one of the reasons he is out in Cleveland is that of all the draft picks they got to start only 4 made the team.
We've already had enough of that!
