Our offseason moves have been fucking stupid. That's not subjective at all, that's just a fact.

If some of you want to pretend otherwise, suit yourself. But you should also refrain from blasting anyone who calls the sky blue. It's not a good way to hide your insanity.

A true fan has an OBLIGATION to complain when your team does stupid shit. That's how change happens. For years the fan base supported Hurney while he drove the franchise into the ground. Over and over and over and over and over and over and over. And finally, the INSTANT the masses called him out on it, he gets shitcanned. You motherfuckers have the power to incite change but you just sit back and suck your thumb while pretending everything is going great. You enable the team to keep doing stupid horseshit.

Don't be coward. Exercise the power you have to bring about change. If you sit there and blindly support everything your favorite team does, or everything your government does, or everything authority figures do, then you're a pussy and a hinderance on society.

 

I don't like everything that's happened so far. But as everyone has alluded to when Hurney was the HMFIC, it was inevitable that the cap had to be addressed at some point. I'd rather address it after a 12-4 year rather than a 2-14 year.

Furthermore, I get making changes, but blowing up a team that was damn near on the same playing level as the Superbowl champs deserves a few second guesses.....

I would actually be fine with that too, but unfortunately the cap has little to do with Gettleman's decisions.

 

You're looking at the short term rather than the long term. Hurney would gladly return if you think we'd be better off with his mentality on how to build a champeenship team.
