Everyone is bashing Gettleman, but the man has enough sense to know that we have no viable WR's on the roster. There's a plan; we just don't know what it is. Give it a chance.

We didn't see the Harper signing coming, but they had to be talking to him. I imagine they're talking to some other decent WR's. We might be alright with the combination of an Austin, Cotchery, Collie, Burress, Manningham, James Jones, DHB, Meachem, or Rice on the team.

 

I need to see him do something to convince me he has a plan for winning, even if it's an ill-conceived plan. Right now his only plan appears to be "fuck you I'm a GM".

 

He may have a plan, but it may not work out if no one wants to play here. He's not throwing obscene money around which is fine, but the very public way he shit on Smitty has got to make players think a bit. Sure a lot of guys will go for the most $, but if we're not the team able to offer the most, and for some reason we've gotten a negative rep, who besides rookies & the guys no one else wants can we get? We had a good season, so it's not like we're bottom dwellers to keep people away. It's a bit scary that even if Gettleman has a plan, it may crash & burn if no one wants to come here. Who knows, but I still think our struggling offense has taken several huge steps back and don't see any particular game changers out there. Oh never mind the rambling, Bell is replacing Gross, cam will be on his back or running for his life, we don't need WRs worth a damn. Yeah, anyone who thinks Bell is a solid re sign and at the same time Smitty not even worth keeping as a role player isn't someone who earns my confidence

 

It's to the point we have to sign someone.

 

We signed that cocksmoker Harper. Hope that POS never gets to play a down for us.

 

Will I go to hell for hoping for a mini camp IR injury? Or even today when he plays a game of pick up ball with friends?!
