    The great jazz trumpet player passed yesterday morning from a heart attack. In addition to recording under his own name he recorded with most all the greats under the sun, e.g. Sonny Rollins, John Coltrane, etc.

    was highly under-rated. Loved what I heard of him and I'm certain I enjoyed him a lot more without knowing.
