franchise placekickers

    fwifw, Adam Vinatieri was a franchise kicker for two teams. that's "very, very rare," according to Rick Preston.

    some others? Morten Anderson and Gary Anderson.

    George Blanda met the longevity requirement for three teams (chicago, houston and oakland). But a career 52.4 percent success rate on field goals keeps him from franchise status with three teams. In fact, the best he could muster was 62.7 percent with Oakland (he was under 50 with chicago and houston). So he wasn't even a franchise placekicker with one team, let alone two or three.

    Also, no chinese franchise kickers in the history of the NFL.

    Would Danny White have qualified as a franchise punter AND a franchise QB for the Cowboys in the 80s?
