Fox's draft strategy

According to today’s Charlotte stories, Fox stated he considers DE, CB, and RB to be our top 3 needs. This is after the Smith signing, and IMO, points to the fact they may be sharpening the axe for Huntley. I’d rate DE and CB the top 2, myself. We could do worse than Peppers, Rumph, and Wells.

And I’m not just saying that because I’ve been hyping each guy in each round either.

I really like Fox's style. He is being very blunt talking to the press. He had some pretty strong comments about RA and his play last year. He said if Peppers has a good workout on Tues it would be hard not to take him. Not sure if he was sincere or trying to get some teams to start making offers. Either way, I really like him.

Yep, he’s our #2. I imagine we’ll either draft a QB late, 6th round or so, or bring in a young FA that someone discarded in June to compete with Lytle for the 3rd spot. It’d be nice to develop a young guy.
