What's new? Not much. I'm still the man up in this piece. BTW Steve Smith is back.

And the corresponding roster move is? One of our 30 linebackers who haven't been doing shit. Probably Dante Curry.

On seeing or talking to Smith: I talked to him, but I didn't see him. Didn't want him to break my face or anything.

On whether Smith text-messaged him: No, because texting is gay.

    On injuries: They happen.

On what Smith brings to the Panthers: Well, he's a very explosive player. He can pretty much score from any point on the field, and defenses have to respect that. He's a shitty locker room guy and makes everyone a little uneasy, but you have to be willing to deal with those guys.

On the importance of having offense success without Smith: It's always important to have offensive success, you dumb son of a bitch.

On Adrian Peterson: He's pretty fucking good.

On the hit by Lance Briggs on Jake Delhomme: Best thing that could have happened to us. I think it knocked some sense into that retard. I just wish that a linebacker would get pushed into our sideline and run over Jeff Davidson.

On being able to have an opinion: I don't give opinions. I give the truth, and everything that I say is the right answer.

On if Peterson reminds him of anybody: He reminds me of that black actor, I forget his name. He was the dude in Gladiator, black guy with a funny terrorist name. They look kind of alike. But then again, you can say that about most blacks.

On how winning without Smith affects Smith: I'm sure it pisses him off some.

On if Smith needs to tell people anything upon coming back: No, I think he got his point across fairly well in Spartanburg.

On areas of concern from the game against Chicago: LOL...when you get down 17-3 against a shitty team like the Bears, there are always concerns. Right now I think our biggest problem is the coaching staff. Not me, I'm still good. I'm talking about my assistants. They're cramping my style.

On the illegal formation calls against the Panthers in the first half: We were hoping the refs wouldn't catch us, but give them credit.

On why the Panthers didn't throw more slants in the first half: Again, don't look at me. It could be because my offensive coordinator is retarded.

Seriously, is there a less-inspirational speaker on the face of the earth than John Fox? Its getting so I can't even read Foxhole anymore without falling asleep by the 2nd paragraph.

I know he's probably a great guy to have as a buddy, and the players seem to like him, but christ, that stuff would wear me down if I had to listen to it on a daily basis.

I think the players are winning this year in spite of the coaches. Its really the first time in the John Fox era I've felt this way, for whatever that's worth.
