    I'm really excited about Davis being on the field more. The guy plays smart. Watching him against Atlanta (x2) he doesn't just use his speed and run at a guy and risk getting juked - he literally mirrored Vick and when Vick paused, he did too rather then lunging and grabbing air. I think Davis could be very special.

    Not really that different. Seifert wanted rush - he spent plenty on DL. Dom was the one protecting his Ss in four deep zones.

    I think the big differnce is that Fox wants to win with his defense and special teams. Seifert wanted the defense to play well enough to allow his offense to win. That is why Fox puts so much emphasis on running the ball as opposed to Seifert who did not. I also think Fox puts more emphasis on stopping the run than Seifert did. That is why Fox has basically two strong safeties on the field.

    I can't help but to think of Thomas Howard when reading this discussion about SS. Covers good, hits hard, fast as anyone, tall and rangy and probably could cover hell out of a TE. Leave him at his 230 weight and turn him lose??

    I cant help but think of Greg Blue and having us another SS/WLB Georgia tweener.

    Id be cool with it in the 3rd tho.
