I would trade Rivera to get Fox back in a hearbeat. Chud has been great but none of the other coaches have impressed me at all.

Out of those 6 non winning seasons:

1 was with Rodney Peete starting for a team that went 1-15 the prior year.

1 was with a QB rotation that included Jake, Carr, Vinnie and Moore.

1 was with a QB rotation that included Moore, Clausen, Pike and St. Pierre.

Vince Lombardi could not have a winning season under those circumstances.

    I'd trade Hurney/Rivera for Elway/Fox

Foxys failure to address the QB position was part of his downfall, he got lucky with Jake and when that ran out he had no answers.

If im made HC first thing i do is find a competent QB to lead the team, in the end it seemed Hurney forced JC on him.

I'll always have a soft spot for Foxy, but it got stale here in Carolina. Its Denvers first years under Foxball, give them a few years of it and we'll see how long it takes those teams in that division to adjust.

That Denver team wasnt as void of talent as people seem to think. They sucked on D but Foxy put a nice little draft together to help them out.

Id trade our D for theirs, thats about it.

Its hard to judge Rivera on this D, its just seriously lacking in talent and bar Fua and McClain its all pretty much Foxys work, excuses aside, the same guys only won 2 games last year.

We need a serious overhall on D, bigger, faster, stronger and were gonna need more than Gamble at CR if were gonna hang with NO and ATL the next couple years.

Did Fox ever have the power to address the QB position. Hurney has always been the GM and JR has always been the owner. I am sure Fox would have preferred to have signed a solid veteran QB his final year here.
