No. Harbaugh has that by a huge margin, but Fox hasn't even done that good a coaching job this season. He didn't want Tebow at all and certainly didn't want to start him. As noted, their play-calling with Tebow has been pretty awful overall, plus the defense is below average. They're only in the playoffs because they play in the worst division.

2nd overall pick last year, won the division this year, lead the league in rushing despite being 31st in the pass, if they beat the Pats and make it to the AFCC game... pretty strong

There was talk early on that Tebow fell to 4th on Fox's depth chart. Guarantee he did not want to play him, but was ordered to. Some of the comments he made about Tebow were pretty bad too.

I liked and defended Fox for years, but his behavior/attitude the last year he was here just totally soured me on him.

Carolina actually led the league in yards per carry, was third in rushing yards, and led in rushing touchdowns. The Broncos made the playoffs because they were in a terrible division.

I do not mean botched just that he never got back all his arm strength. A normal person would consider it successful but an NFL QB demands a lot more of his arm than most people. This is all speculation on my part but something was different about Jake after that surgery. Sure he was always inconsistent but after the surgery he got consistently bad.

Maybe they did get in because they are in a weak division but how do you account for them beating the Steelers. The Steelers were in the superbowl last year and won a lot of games this year. They have a huge advantage in playoff experience on the Broncos.

Nope, that was the real Jake. He crapped the bed in the conference championship game against Seattle in '05 too. He had more than a few of those horrific performances during his time with the Panthers.

Pittsburgh had a ton of injuries and playing at home is always a big advantage. How do you never remember anything about football? You've already forgotten that New Orleans lost to a mediocre Seahawks team in the first round last season. Do you think Pete Carroll should have won Coach of the Year then?

It is true that he probably did stick with Jake too long but at the same time he had no one on the bench who was any better. Matt Moore briefly looked good but he is a back up quality QB at best.

Hurney is the GM it is his job to acquire talent. It is the head coaches job to win as much as possible with the talent he has. Fox did his part.

I never said Fox should win COY. I just think he deserves more credit than you are giving him. You say his offense sucks and his defense sucks but he won a playoff game against a quality opponent somehow.
