Goings broke off some huge runs.
Goings ran behind a poor o-line.
Goings DID crank out 100 yards per game, as a starter:

42 (aired it out in 2nd half against San Fran)
    121
    106
    122
    108
    61
    127
    46

I agree we need a blue chipper - I'm suggesting Foster isn't it.

I hope Davis is growin' some cartilage.

You can get blue chippers outside the first round. Hell, you can get them outside the first DAY.

I know Goings got it done the second half of last year but I do not seem him doing it on a regular basis in the future.

Agreed. But I don't see Foster doing it, either.

BENSON. That's my draft day dream.

You can do a lot of things but how likely are you to do it? Lots of great players were late round picks but what are the odds? How many second day QBs turn out to be Tom Brady?

I would be happy with him, much happier than with Williamson or White.

Some years, yes. This year, no. It is understandable to make assumptions based on past drafts - I do it too - but people and the media have been repeating the idea that good to great RBs can be found in the later rounds so much that the same sentiment is expressed in regards to this draft without really looking at the available players. There are no Julius Joneses or Tatum Bells in this draft. There are some a couple of good to decent guys along with some promising guys with major questions (re: Harris is dumb as a rock and already 26), but nothing like the depth of previous years.
