Would it affect distribution of comp picks as well?

To be technically correct, he did make it all the way through 2003.

I thought he did miss a game or two in '03. I don't remember why.

Too many other factors to worry about there - whether we lose more FAs than we sign, how much Foster signs for, etc., - teams that make decisions based on comp picks get burned. We should make the choices on whether that player is going to help us at the price he wants, and in my opinion, Foster won't ever be worth what he expects based on injuries alone. This attitude issue isn't helping.

Seems like he wasn't active week 1? I don't seem to remember him against the Jags, although I have a harder time keeping up with those things when I'm actually at the game.

Attitude might be interpreted differently to you than to me. I can't fault him for not wanting to talk money now - I can fault him for having decided to leave before a season's over. Do we agree that players should play for the team, not for the cash?

cash then team....it's a new NFL.....Tim Brown was a dinosaur......most players go cash then team unless they are marginal, then they have the luxury of team then cash......
