Fuck him - I said at the end of the season that the last thing I wanted to see was us lock Foster or Morgan into huge deals. We might keep Morgan, and that's potentially allright, but if I had it to do, I'd leave neither of them signed past the year right now, nor Witherspoon. We've spent way too much on contracts with 1-2 years left, and our luck's going to run out once we start signing guys who miss more games than they play. WW falls outside that mold, but isn't so integral that he absolutely must be retained, either.

    Exactly..

The fumbling has always bothered me. I was in L.A. when Dickerson was making all those yards. In the end, every time a big game was on the line, everyone knew he would squirt it over and give the game away.
But he always got lots o yards.

If Foster protects the ball and stays healthy, I think he's a good outside/break away runner to pair up with an inside guy.

True these guys overrate themselves as pieces of the overall team. Talentwise they are up there, but as integral parts of the team they are not indespensible.

On that note who would you list as the 5 most key player on the O and D.

O -- Delhomme, Mitchell, Gross, Wahle, Smith

D -- Peppers, Jenkins, Rucker, Gamble, Lucas

or who would you feel would be the ten biggest losses.

Foster has bigtime potential...and if playing in the last year of his contract makes him have a career year...I'm all for it

He's under contract this year and that's all that matters...

If he blows up and has a monster year then we just franchise tag his butt.

What is it about guys who have 'potential' who don't do a whole lot due to injuries or whatever, play hardly if any at all because of injuries (yet got paid the same over a year or so), then want big paydays or fuk the team who paid them to sit on the sidelines for a year or so once they finally get one dang 'productive' year in.

    like Grant too.
