For those who care -

I would cut and paste article but who cares really. League committee unanimously voted to allow Hornets to move to New Orleans. Only surprise to me was that it was unanimous. I thought someone on the committee was against the move. Oh, well, ciao baby.

The Relocation Committee voted in favor of it. It still has to be approved by the owners.

Yeah, but its a done deal now. No owner is going to turn on one of their own, it could be them next time. Thats been said by many, I know.

"I want to congratulate everyone who made this possible. We had unified support from the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives all the way down to the governor's office, the mayor, Mark Morial, and the Mayor-elect Ray Nagin. And then, of course, to the fans who made this all possible." Ray Woolridge

Did I miss something? Did the United States Senate and House of Representatives get involved with the Hornets? Are George and Ray getting federal money? I don't thik so! Does he mean the Mississippi state senate and house of representatives?

What a goofball. Good riddance.
