    Movies in 1930 owned the theaters. If you wanted to see "Citizen Kane" (an RKO picture) you had to go to an RKO theater. This system, commonly called the Studio System, was broken up under anti-trust lawsuits in the early forties (maybe late 30s).

    The NFL is using the same tactics as the studios did. Time Warner is a terrible corporation that I despise and revel in every failure. But the NFL, in this case, is a terrible organization and 100% totally in the wrong. There is a precedent there.

    somewhere in my earlier post, it was lost when I said that not all that TWC is right and just. I just got hit with Collin's wrath because he thinks I am kissing TWC's ass. Trust me, I know not all TWC does is right.

    Apparently it is bad for a business to want to make money--and TWC is likely not the only company EVER to profit by methods that others deem seedy and unfair.

    I guess this is one time I should be glad I live near KC and get their channels on my cable service? Not that it would be a big deal or anything....it's just another game to watch tonight.
