    Nirvana was more about the lyrics than the music, and that came from Cobain, not Grohl.

    :agreed: It's like Jerry Cantrell's solo career, he had one single, and that was because people wanted more of Alice in Chains.

    And just for the mutha fuckin record, Nirvana is a pile of pig vomit compared to Alice in Chains. Layne could have killed himself years ago and AIC would be the top rock band of all time. Blah blah blah.

    FF's first album was put together before grohl had recruited additional band members for touring. Fucker did the vocals, guitar, bass, and drums himself.
