FM Sports Talk Stations in the QC

    CBS Radio I've been noticing in their bigger markets have been pairing up their AM Sports Talk Stations (i.e. WIP-610 in Philly, WFAN-660 in NYC) with an FM station; This puts them in a better position to bid for broadcast rights for their area pro/college teams.

    I wonder when/if the head honchos at CBS Radio will try and do the same with WFNZ 610AM or the soon to be CBS Sports Radio Affiliate on 1660. This would finally put them in position to make a serious bid for the Panthers radio rights (which would boost ratings big time) or at the least, make it easier to hear the Bobcats game.
