I just threw that number out there. Thanks for the heads up though. I will have to take down that TV thingingy that hold up the old one down from the wall, sand and fill the holes. Then take the cable back through the wall and to its original cable outlet and to the flat screen.

Any suggestions on a good way to deal with the cable line going up the wall to the TV? Short of feeding it up the wall?

Eh I just put my dresser in front of it. Didn't run the cable through the Wall at that level. So the cable line goes up behind the dresser. Its a pretty easy process to mount the TV, but make sure you check it with a level. I had to patch 4 extra holes because I thought I could do it by eye... dammit.

I moved my dresser in front of it and have a DVD player and Cable box sitting on top of the dresser. Both are connected to the TV from there.

If youre wanting something behind the TV itself you might be better off to call a wiring guy. First of all he'll need to put in a wall socket for the power closer to the TV and while he's at it he can do you another cable run behind the TV.

No boxes to attach, just going to main line it. I definitely will have the laser level out.

Bullshit... Fred and 9 inches would be like dropping a hotdog down a well.
