    Gross' existing contract ran through 2014, but they could save quite a bit of money by trading/releasing him. Adding new years to that would tell a lot about how Gettleman plans to handle the near future.

    I guess the obvious moves for the future would be to dump both Gamble and Gross now and draft OT and CB with the first two draft picks.

    But that probably doesnt make us much better next year, the temptation would be to somehow restructure 1 or both and draft other positions that will help the team short term.
