if you put a 6-3 guy with 4.3 speed that has show the ability to make a flashy play on the PS you may as well hand him over to another team.

True, but it's the nature of the beast. I don't see us dumping Proehl, his leadership is too important to the offense. Hankton has that tag as well, although is overall ability is very replacable...Hankton could be cut to keep Carter off another roster, which I would prefer.

That would be a first, I don't recall ever keeping 6 on the final 53. Not that it couldn't happen, but I don't see it.

We did start the year that way last year, with Baker, Colbert inactive.

Yep. I'm assuming that Carter's going to be sitting a lot, but will stay. I guess that's cool, better than Colbert sitting all year as they might've planned last year.

I thought Rod Rutherford had a major upside but with the acquisition of the draft QB and Weinke having a pretty strong pre-season, the writing was on the wall.
    How abour # 22 Robinson I think.
    The boy is a player.

    Robinson > Shelton

I like the guy, plays with intensity, but not stoopid intensity.

KR duties looked good. Hopefully, if he can beat Smart to the tackle on some Kick/punt coverage, we'll keep him and waive smart. He's much better than smart everywhere else, imo.

Edit: replace Robinson with Robertson, please.

Robertson will take Smart's job. I think that also gives McCree a job as a safety and possibly Dante Wesly at CB, to offset the loss on ST.

I'm hoping Rutherford is signed to the PS. I think another year and he'll be a suitable 3rd QB. The only thing that worries me is I'm not sure that with a year LeFors will be ready to be the #2 guy.
