    I wonder if it'll keep my backyard warmer in the winter...


    me personally though...I can't see me paying anyone to build a fence

    we paid for one in Charlotte about 15 years ago. I can't remember who did it though. It was worth it for me. Split rail, with stretched wire and two gates, about 50 feet deep - 100 feet across the back. It was going to be $500 for the material alone, we paid about $1,000 to have it done. I was going to rent an auger to make the holes, another $100 to my cost.

    But with all the underground wiring they ended up having to hand dig most of the holes anyway. They started at ten and were gone by four and that including breaking for lunch. I would have spent two weekends doing it myself.

    It's not really that hard to do especially if you have help but the price you pay for labor is usually worth it unless you have nothing but time on your hands.
