Obvious | Columbus discovers new land
    Tue, 12 Oct 1492 21:17:19 -0700

The Genoa Gazette reports that explorer/trader Christopher Columbus has discovered new land off the Atlantic Ocean. “Well, there’s no question that we are all pleased about this development,” said Columbus.

All cornball humor aside, it's a good decision. I mean, it could have been made w/o all the posturing and fanfare, but I think he will be better off w/another year. They should be better this year, unless all of their RB's go down again.

A good showing this weekend might not hurt.

PTF has said he told the team months ago we would play, but didnt give them permission to announce it. Some theorized he liked the attention.

IF TRUE, its funny that when he finally announced, the announcement got very little fanfare.

Even if not true, I think its still funny.

    I seriously doubt that.

I guess John Madden is happy, I am not sure anyone else cares at this point though. He will probably retire and then come back and do the Michael Jordan thing.

I was thinking of the stint with the Wizards.
