Pretty much everyone outside of Peppers played like a hermaphrodite trying to fuck himself, but I give my three shits of the game to:

    #1) Jake Delhomme
    #2) Thomas Davis
    #3) Maake Kemoeatu

Jake sailed everything and yet was bitching at his receivers. Yes, in the second half Abraham schooled Gross, but in the first even the announcers were talking about how Delhomme had plenty of time and still kept fucking up.

I don't know if the rumors about Thomas Davis being dumb are true, but he sure plays like it. We talked about his difficulties in zone vs. man last year, and now it seems like he just has no feel for assignments at linebacker. He overpursues everything, doesn't find the ball carrier, and gets engulfed by blockers. Seward and Draft had their share of sucking as well, but I expected more from TD.

And as for Kemoeatu, this wasn't really his type of game in that he's more help against power running teams rather than cutback teams that can get by him, but I saw him being driven back several times by one god damned blocker. That pissed me off.

Oh, and don't everyone jump off the ledges quite yet. We've got issues to fix, but New England lost their opener to Buffalo 31-0 the year they beat us in the Super Bowl.
