Falcons vs. Panthers Running Game Day Commentary

Uh, we lost because of no Smitty :imagestor

 

I wonder if he could stop the run.

 

We lost cause we couln't block anyone, and were terrible on 3rd down. We left a lot of third and shorts down.

But mostly we lost cause of poor tackling. Smitty doesn't play linebacker.

 

It's sad when the only silver lining you can find out of an ass-beating like this is that maybe it will serve as a wake-up call for our team.

All through the pre-season when I heard superlatives about our offense I kept wondering who the hell the prognosticators were watching.

No blocking = shit.

 

anybody that blames a football game on any one thing is generally trying to further a prior agenda. I couldn't name a guy who played as good as he could've.

yeah. The entire team stunk, on a surprising level. Defense doesnt look good at all, they look slow on their feet, slow to react.

Great way to start a season, going 0-1 in the division. I hope we take Minnesota seriously, because we sure didnt think we needed to come out hard against Atlanta.

And Im tired of saying we need to come out hard. With the current staff, its too often that we bitch about playing hard, and with intensity. Fuck that, man.

 

We didn't look slow to me, we overran everything. Backside cutbacks, over and over. Can't say anyone on defense played well, but all of our linebackers played badly.
