Sometimes, you're just not as good as you think you are. I think that is the case of the 2005 Panthers--a very good football team.

Thing is, a very good football team can win the NFC. There is one "great" team right now in the conference: Seattle. All other contenders are pretty even.

The offensive line is subpar. Wharton is a horrid liablility at LT. Gotta improve.

 

It just doesn't seem to me like our coaches know that you need to have different game plans against different teams. Seems like they figured that out last time we played Atlanta and then went back to the same old crap. Run on 1st down, run on 2nd down, throw on 3rd and short or 3rd and long depending on which.

If somebody knows what you're gonna do every play, it's not hard to stop.

 

It's almost like we gameplanned for Atlanta and went vanilla on everyone else.

 

just venting my frustration Mike. please forgive me. I hate seeing the team I feel so much for, wasting every opportunity it gets.

The mexicans game, I thought we had stepped up to the next level. I was very happy at the time. Since then, we have sunk lower imo than we were before that game, which was not all that impressive as a whole. And thus why I am even more frustrated.

 

Coach, why do you think Tampa has a bad defense?
They are ranked 2nd, and only 1.7 ypg from 1st.

They have lesser talent than they have had in the past (that's what I meant), yet statistically, it looks good. They are good, they are getting more from what they have than we are. How and why is that? Their running game is much better with a lesser O line and a rookie back that really isn't all that better than ours (supposedly). Their passing game appears better with a supposedly lesser QB and lesser O line, and lesser wrs. How and why is that?

Fuk statistics, but Tampa has all but won the division and will host a PO game. We will be lucky to even get in. I guess gruden and his assistants are not all that bad of a coaching staff, huh? They are winning right now when it matters. They have been given gift opportunities by aour suckiness and have taken advantage. They get the saints last, and I don't believe they are gonna lay an egg like we did last year.

It is what it is. And that's all it will be unless you do something about it.
